The wave of technology is storming throughout the world and the Riviera Maya is no exception. With millions of tourists coming from all over the world, expecting to communicate and integrate their vacation into the digital plane, there has been an outstanding effort to provide the best and foremost resources to keep you online with high-speed broadband and wireless access throughout the many resorts and hotels. Be it through a laptop, mobile phone or digital tablet you can be sure that the internet will be always available for you to stay in contact, share your pictures and photographs, stay in touch with the company or simply surf the web searching for a nice spot to dine out.
If you are like me, someone who likes to be en constant contact with the company, clients, and providers then I’m sure you appreciate a stable connection, broadband, and easy log-in. Be it either Wi-Fi or through your mobile carrier you can rest assured that you will be able to access the internet. First, as I’ve already told you, most hotels have very fast broadband access (at a small cost which will be charged directly to your room number and billed at the end of your stay) and secondly, almost all of the U.S., Canada, Asian, and European carrier companies have joint business ventures with Mexican companies so as to provide a seamless transition from your country of origin to this small place in paradise.
But if your intention is of a more permanent nature, then I suggest you buy a local SIM card which will allow you to have a local mobile number and take advantage of the many offers and promotional fees that local companies carry.
Right now I’m working at the office on a 50+ Mb/s broadband connection through my phone company internet service and I am about done, It’s been a long day and I think I’ve earned myself a nice long walk in the beach with my dogs and maybe a cold beer just for the fun of it.
I would really like to hear from you and get to know if you have any questions. In the meanwhile have an extraordinary day.
